WELCOME to Kimo’s Vegas… The Players Edge!

One Million dollars is how much the child fashion model, actress and pop star turned multiple DUI offender, Lindsey Lohan wants to celebrate her coming out of rehab/21st birthday party at Pure in Caesars Palace. The appearance fee was to be subsidized by Svedka Vodka backed out of the deal after her recent arrest. Parts from Lilo’s car that were left at the scene of the accident reportedly sold for more than $20,000.

Mel Brooks (producer) is negotiating with Tony Danza (actor) to join the Vegas production of the Producers. Tickets sales have dropped off considerably since the guy who likes his burgers off the floor David Hasselhoff left the show.

Bada bing… that was the famous Restaurant Guy Savoy at Caesars Palace that Tony Soprano was spotted at during his Vegas R&R, a couple of weeks ago.

The high stakes version of Vegas Monopoly continues as Donald Trump announced plans to add a $2.5 billion neighbor to his Donald Trump Tower. Then look for Crown Las Vegas a joint venture with PBL, York Capital and IDM Properties. Publishing and Broadcasting Limited (PBL) is the Australian company that was founded by the late Kerry Packer the Vegas high rolling whale who would play up to $40 million on one trip to the MGM. It makes his company’s $22 million investment seem a little manini.

Will Ferrell, Kevin James, Chris Tucker, Gabrielle Union, Daughtry and many others joined Bon Jovi for Tiger Jam X, raising more than $1.5 million for the Tiger Woods Foundation. In addition to the concert the rich and famous bid on auctions that included a putting lesson with Tiger for $95,000, a trip to the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing for $125,000, lunch with Bon Jovi went for $64,000 and a Tiger Woods autographed Buick Enclave was sold for $50,000.

Mark Noorzai president of The Las Vegas Sports & Entertainment Group says Vegas is ready for an MLS expansion team. In addition to the $35 million expansion fee they are prepared to build a $500 million retractable-roof stadium, practice fields and other amenities on 200 acres of land.

Another NBA event coming to Las Vegas… the 2007 NBA Summer League features the top free agents and 2007 Drafts. The 21 NBA teams and the Chinese National Team will compete over 10 days, starting July 6th at the Thomas & Mack Center and the Cox Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada Las Vegas. If you’re not in town check out all the action on NBA-TV.

How much did the infamous Michael Jackson auction gross? The auctioneer says $1 million but the seller says $2 million. Either way it was a lot less than expected… perhaps they should have included the Elephant Man’s bones and Michael’s skin bleach.

Get Aloe or whot… Democratic Presidential candidates Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton addressed some of the 60,000 Culinary Workers Union members who are in contract negotiations with the MGM Mirage. The Senator from Illinois said that he would walk their campaign lines if needed, adding “I have already brought my suntan lotion”.
